Step 2: Install the Downloader App

Open the Amazon Appstore using the search icon on the home screen.

Search for Downloader (orange icon, made by AFTVnews).

Select Download and wait for the install to finish.

Open it once and accept the storage permission prompt so it can save files.

Step 3: Install an IPTV Player

Open the Downloader app.

In the URL field, type the download address of the player app. This is usually provided by your IPTV provider or listed on the app's official website.

The APK file downloads. Select Install when prompted.

When installation finishes, choose Done rather than Open. Downloader then offers to delete the installer file, which is a good idea to free space.

Step 4: Add Your IPTV Account

Open your IPTV app from the apps list.

Choose Login with Xtream Codes API (the most common option), or choose an M3U URL if that is what your provider sent.

Enter the credentials:

- Name: any label you like, such as "Living room"

- Username: from your provider

- Password: from your provider

- URL: the server address from your provider, including the port number if one was given

Select Add User and wait for the channels to load. The first load can take a while on large playlists.

Most players organise content into three areas:

Live TV : browse channels by category such as Sports, News, and Entertainment.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Installing from unknown websites. Search results for app files include look-alike pages. Use your provider's link or the developer's official site.

Leaving Unknown Sources on permanently for every app. Where your Fire OS version allows it, grant the permission only to Downloader.
